Fayetteville, AR - Tokyo Sushi Food Review
522 Dickson st, Fayetteville, AR 72701
Food Nirvana. What does that term mean to you? Well to me it means that I have found somewhere that I can go, sit down and be wowed. To a point that I wonder where this place has been all my life, and I suddenly feel a sense of foodism that envelops my soul in a warm fuzziness that only great food can provide!
Northwest Arkansas has many such foodie gems, that sometimes requires a lot of searching to find. But other times, are right there, smack dab in plain site. Beckoning you to cross the threshold, that little voice saying to you "come in, and stay awhile". And it's times like this, you have to listen.
For those of you who follow me, you know I can be very picky in regards to food quality, service, aesthetics and value for the dollar spent. So when I come across an establishment that can offer a great level of all of those factors, well, I take it upon myself to climb that proverbial highest mountain and scream at the top of my lungs; "Hey, check it out! Food Nirvana!!!!".
And I am here to tell you about one such place here in North West Arkansas, and that is Tokyo Sushi over on Dickson St. in Fayetteville. These guys and gals are the real deal. If you are looking for not only great sushi and sashimi, but also a place that makes you feel welcome and puts you into that wonderful trance we call "food nirvana", look no further.
As soon as you enter their establishment, you are greeted by the staff in a way that makes you not only feel special but also lets you know you are appreciated. And that can be a rarity, I can not tell you how many places I have been to where you are treated like the next ticket, and no more. And that is just not the case here, you will find the staff accommodating, cordial and just down right helpful. They are willing to take the time and explain to you what is offered and what you are eating.
I am very picky about one of my foodie loves, which is sushi and sashimi. So many people get turned off of sushi and/or sashimi because they unfortunately end up trying mediocre or bad examples of this great food, and then it is ruined for them for life. That is why it is so important to find a place that takes pride in the freshness of their product, and I am here to tell you that the folks at Tokyo Sushi are one of those places! Finding great sushi and sashimi is not all that easy in Northwest Arkansas, in my humble opinion there really only are a handful of places that meet those expectations, and now I can add one more to that list.
Not only do they take pride in the freshness of the product that they serve, they present it in a way that makes not only your taste buds go wow, but your eyes tell you "wow, this is going to be great".
And the prices are very reasonable. So combine that with all the other factors and it means you will be going back over and over again for more.
There are just too many photos to put into this article, and I have to forewarn you about something. Once you have browsed the photos I have up on the site, you WILL find yourself in a zombie type trance and will be unable to stop yourself from going there immediately.
So with that warning given, if you would like to see even more photos of some of their great offerings, go to our website.
I have to say that they are one of the best sushi places in North West Arkansas. The wait staff has always been attentive when I have been there, and their facility is nice and clean as well as inviting. The decor is very nice and their facility has ample seating arrangements which are not too crowded. The ingredients are top notch and fresh, which is one of the most important factors in a place like this. Presentation of the plating is great and the value in relation to money spent and product received is very good. The facility has been clean every time I have visited, which includes the bathroom facilities.
So all in all I have to say this is a must try for my viewers, I can and do highly recommend Tokyo Sushi. For those of you who are picky aficionados of sushi and sashimi, you will be impressed. And for those of you who have thought about trying out sushi and sashimi but just weren't sure where to go, well look no further!
